What a Bunch of Bankers

Many British people are on the brink of losing their homes as uncaring Spanish banks refuse to change rules to help get people through the crisis.

We were contacted by a lady from Fuengirola who tearfully told us how for months she had been pleading with her bank to drop her monthly payments, rather than possess her home. The lady, who has a ten-year-old daughter claims that months ago she had a meeting with the bank, who agreed terms with her, have now refused and are trying to evict her.

She now has to either pay for lawyers that she can’t afford,  or wait for the dreaded knock on the door that will leave her homeless. Are you in a similar situation? If so email sunnews@idecnet.com and tell us your story, we are currently speaking to one of the lawyers who offer services to the charity “Ray of Light” to see if it is possible to form an association to try to help people tackle the banks and keep their homes.
